More Christmas Vignettes and Santas – It Is So Very Festive AND Luxe At Chez DeBastos!
Once I get started, there is no stopping. I mentioned in a previous post that I have a pretty extensive collection of Santas. They all have their own look and seem to work in specific areas throughout the house.
So, I got motivated to share some additional areas of our house with little “touches” of Christmas everywhere. Get ready!

Check out the links above for some incredible inspo. Right now, many of my favorite stores are offering substantial discounts on their Christmas items. So, if you are still creating your festive space, head on over and take advantage of the special prices. Or, you can wait until after Christmas, however, there are not as many items to choose from at that time.

Since I cook most everynight, I like to make the kitchen feel festive too. I just love Norman Rockwell and this book. Notice the greens in the background. These came from Home Depot and were free. I spread these throughout the house and the scent is heavenly!

Santas are placed on our piano, on our sofa table in the living room, the cabinet in our family room and in all of the bathrooms. They are EVERYWHERE! I mixed things up a bit on the entryway table with one of Santa’s reindeer and a “Get Your Jingle On” sign.

Also, I have so much fun with tablescapes on our patio, breakfast table, and formal dining room. Since I have several sets of dishes, I can change up the place settings, and mix and match the different patterns. I love Spode Christmas tree, Ralph Lauren crystal, and the beautiful tartan plates that I got at Williams-Sonoma. I mix these with different chargers and napkins.

I had to move a few things around to make room for this Santa. Love this guy in the guest bathroom. I think it was worth it!

A lot of people do not use their china and crystal everyday, but I feel that this is one of the simple pleasures that makes us feel special. Why not enjoy the beautiful items you have to create a luxe environment? You deserve it, right?

One of my favorite items is the bird napkin rings that we are currently using on the patio. We got these a few years ago at Z Gallerie, and just love them. They go with virtually everything, and they make a fun statement. It seems that I have a “thing” for birds (there are cardinals included on the patio tablescape too).
We are fortunate that we already have some festive colors in our home. Our family room has red and yellow toile drapes and a red and white Pottery Barn buffalo plaid rug. This makes it easy to transform the area to a Christmas extravaganza.

What do you do to make your holiday season special? Do you decorate all rooms or just the living areas? How about table settings? I would love to know how you make your Christmas special.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful Chistams decorations, your home is so festive! Lidy
Thanks so much, Lidy! It is a labor of love. I really enjoy decorating for Christmas. Cheers!
