Depending on the bride and groom, it is always a challenge to figure out what to get them for their special occasion.
Over the last few years, we have attended so many weddings that I have lost count.
Don’t you just love the innovative ways that each bride and groom choose to celebrate their special day? We really enjoy celebrating with them all. Our wedding was supposed to be held in a garden setting, however, we had a rainy day. Oh well, they say that is good luck.

Tiffany Champagne Flutes For The Special Couple
One of my favorite gifts is a set of champagne flutes from Tiffany & Co. My favorites are the Plaid trumpet flutes in crystal. Who doesn’t love to receive a gift from Tiffany? And, the bride and groom will remember you every time there is a celebration that includes some bubbly. Another excellent addition is a champagne bucket and good quality champagne to accompany the glasses.

For a more casual couple or one that does not drink alcohol, a well-stocked picnic basket with all of the necessities is a great gift. We happen to LOVE a picnic and anyone that knows us is aware of our obsession with alfresco dining.
A Tisket A Tasket — Why Not A Picnic Basket?
If the bride and groom live in South Florida or near a polo field, it would be fun to include some tickets so they can tailgate while watching the match. We have The International Polo Club here in Wellington, Florida and tailgating there is definitely a “luxe” experience.

We recently took a yummy picnic to a friend’s house for lunch. We set everything up on their dining table, as the weather did not cooperate. We just moved inside, and it was a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed the different approach to lunch in the form of a picnic indoors.
Some of our favorite items are a large basket or fun tote; we always use either china or melamine plates, real silverware, and linen tablecloth and napkins. See one of our previous posts for more picnic ideas at https://www.luxedujour.com/european-luxe-lifestyle-my-love-of-picnics. The picnic in this post was enjoyed in beautiful Napa Valley and was simply perfect!
This fall we plan to take some time to go to our favorite park here in Weston for a picnic. It has been so hot here in South Florida that we feel all “cooped up” in the air conditioning. Maybe we can have a picnic this weekend.
What is your favorite wedding gift to give to your friends and relatives? I would love to hear your ideas.
